Authorities are searching for a man who has not been seen since a fire destroyed his two-story home Monday in Manchester Township.
A state police K-9 searched the remains of the home Tuesday and tried to locate the possible victim. Neighbors say a man in his mid-60s with mobility issues lived alone at the house.
Not much remains of the home on Laketree Court. Video of the fire that investigators are reviewing shows it began at 8:30 p.m. on the porch. Within 30 seconds, the fire quickly spread to the front of the house, blocking the front door and garage. Manchester volunteer firefighters arrived in less than 10 minutes, but by then nearly the entire house was engulfed.
Parts of the upper floors were in danger of collapse Tuesday at the almost 2,000-square-feet house.
There is no official word on how the fire started or if anyone was hurt.
